Converting files from one format to another, you can effectively stop the deterioration in its tracks Thus, it is recommendable to check out your old video material to prevent the lost image quality and information.

CAVSI may make duplicated of the following materials:
* Personal tapes which were videotaped or recorded by you. This includes personal videotapes, classroom tapes or free music.
* Programs for which you have express written permission from the copyright holder to duplicate. A copy of this permission must be provided to us when a Duplication Request is made.

What can not be duplicated? |
In general CAVSI cannot legally duplicate any of the following materials:
* Tapes of programs which may have been rented or recorded from television, laser disc or any broadcast source like movies, television shows, news programs, or something similar.
* Non-commercial tapes for which the customer is not the producer or copyright holder like videos, music videos, etc.
* Computer software like operating system and word or image processors.
* Movies with adult content.
