What is the iPad?
The iPad is a tablet computer designed by Apple Inc. iPad1 was introduced on January 27, 2010 by then-Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Basically, the iPad is a touchscreen controlled by a multitouch display. Ipad has a built-in screen virtual keyboard instead of a physical keyboard; the keyboard is displayed directly on the screen as soon as you start to write. There are external keyboards available that can work using the built-in Bluetooth technology.
All iPad versions are available with 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB. iPads are sold with Wi-Fi technology incorporated and optionally there is the cellular model equipped with a SIM card that allows connection to mobile data networks (3G or 4G).
Apple has an app store with thousands of free and paid apps with functions ranging from games, entertainment, business and education.
