Terms and Conditions

The followings are the terms and conditions that apply to the rental of equipment from CAVSI:

  • To book an event, payment for rental service must be made in full at least two weeks (14 days) before the event including weekends.
  • CAVSI guarantees the customer that the equipment is in good operating condition. A CAVSI technician will deliver, set up, and test equipment in the presence of the renter. Delivery date and time specified in the invoice.
  • The renter shall, at his own cost and expense, during the term of rental, keep and maintain, in his own custody, the equipment in a good state of condition.
  • The renter further agrees to assume full responsibility for all the equipment rented and agrees to compensate CAVSI to the full value in case of equipment is lost, stolen, missing, broken, or damaged by any cause whatsoever, whether due to the renter’s fault or not.
  • Equipment shall be returned to CAVSI at the termination of the rental. The pick-up date is specified in the invoice. The renter further agrees to pay the per diem rental rate for each day past the due date.
  • CAVSI will not be liable for any injury or damage caused, direct or consequential, either to person or property, by the use or misuse of the equipment rented. The renter assumes all responsibility for ensuring that all applicable safety restrictions are followed during the event.
  • Equipment rental is still owned by CAVSI. The customer shall not remove, deface, or obscure property tags. The client cannot allow the equipment to be used in a different place without the express written consent of CAVSI.
  • The cancellation or rescheduling of an event between seven (7) and fourteen (14) days before the delivery date will be made with an administrative fee of $50.00. Cancellations requested within 1 to 6 days prior to the delivery date will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the invoice. Keep in mind that cancellation of an event during the most requested dates, such as Christmas and New Year’s holidays, has a 50% fee regardless of how many days in advance the cancellation is made. The difference will be refunded to the customer.
  • Refunds to customers who made a payment for a service without calling us to verify available dates and times have a 14-business-day return policy, but we will charge $50 processing fee.
